Compensated Work Therapy

About the Program

Compensated Work Therapy, (CWT) provides realistic and meaningful vocational opportunities to veterans and encourage successful reintegration into the community at the veterans' highest functional level.

Compensated Work Therapy programs develop an individual rehabilitation plan for each veteran and provide a wide range of support services to the veterans we serve.

Services Offered:

  • Transitional work experience including temporary to permanent staffing.
  • Sheltered workshop experience including packaging, assembly, and repair.
  • Career development guidance, job search assistance, and follow up services.
  • Employment education and job readiness training referrals.
  • Situational vocational assessments.
  • Vocational counseling and case management.
  • Referrals to Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation and Missouri Division of Workforce Development.

Our residential component, the Transitional Residence Program, provides residential and community support for our CWT veterans.

In addition, we provide extra support for veterans who have had or presently suffer from severe mental illness through the Supported Employment Program.

We also partner as a Sub-contract vendor for a diverse business and industrial community including manufacturing, warehousing, and service delivery industries.
